Other Ways To Get Involved

There are many ways to support the Community Nutrition Network & Senior Services Association. We welcome donations from individuals, foundations, organizations, and businesses. The Community Nutrition Network & Senior Services Association is a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) corporation. All donations are tax-deductible in accordance with IRS regulations.

Last year, the Community Nutrition Network & Senior Services Association provided funding for weekend meals, meals for emergencies, and meals delivered to older adults who do not have transportation to a Community Cafe dining site. None of these meals would have been possible without the support of our generous donors.

Monthly Giving Club

Become a long-term stakeholder for our essential services by setting up monthly donations! Recurring contributions to our programs provide ongoing support to Illinois seniors. Ongoing monthly support:

Promotes the health and wellbeing of vulnerable seniors
Honors seniors humanity and hopes to age gracefully and independently

Fundraising

You are our most powerful advocate! Without the help of committed invidividuals who have the power and conviction to inspire others, we wouldn’t be able to serve the nearly 5,500 meals each day to our senior neighbors in need. In Memoriam

Many people have a connection to Meals on Wheels. Whether you have a loved one who has received meals, delivered meals, or is simply passionate about ending senior hunger – the option to give in memory, or in honor of someone meaningful is always available. If you would like to recognize a loved one with a financial contribution, you can let them know by sending them an electronic card. When making a donation, check the appropriate box for In Memoriam giving.

To make a donation in honor of or in memory of someone go to the donation page, fill the donation form as you normally would, check the box next to “Dedicate my donation in honor or in memory of someone”, fill in the required information about the person, then click on next to continue to the payment options page. The donation will then be acknowledged and viewed as a memoriam donation.
