A donor-advised fund (DAF)...

is a philanthropic giving tool that allows you to grant funds to charities while providing an immediate tax-benefit to you.
It’s like a charitable investment account for the sole purpose of supporting causes you care about.



How Do I Give Through A Donor-Advised Fund?

You can recommend a gift by contacting your financial institution or foundation. The grant will arrive at the Meals on Wheels Foundation of Northern Illinois with only the fund’s name and address on it, unless you request otherwise.
*Alternatively, you can call your fund manager and recommend supporting the Meals on Wheels Foundation of Northern Illinois, along with the amount of the grant.
Your fund manager will send a check directly to the Meals on Wheels Foundation of Northern Illinois from your fund.*
